this is soooo pressureising (did i spell that correct? nvrm, engs exam over)... my father told (almost) all his bros about me qualifying for JC and now all my relatives are "encouraging" me to go to JC. all of them said that even with the current rise in the standards of poly education, managerial and therefore well paid jobs are still occupied by thoe with degrees, masters or Phds. furthermore, the only uni graduate among my family and relatives is my sister so they were overly exited with the prospect of having another graduate in the family circle.
in a sense, they do have a point but my only objection is that there are simply more choices in polys. however, being the thinking man that he actually is, my father pointed out that acquiring a degree would mean more choices IN THE FUTURE. the choices increases as u acquire a master degree and a doctorate.
however, all my doubts now is getting into and surviving JC.
of course, if i get into a JC and take up the right courses, i can take up journalism:)
or maybe even law..........
needless to say, i am now seriously considering my options.
its not that i totally despise going to JC...there are certain courses i am keen on taking which requires an A-level cert.....just that there are more courses in polys.
still the same.|
