Hmmm.....everyone's having fever right now...WORLDCUP fever, i mean. Have to admit, I'm not as 'on' as i was four years ago, during the worldcup at Seoul... probably because I', not a wakeupat2towatchamatch kinda guy....or probably because none of my teams are up there in the semis.... but i'm backing Italy though....because they've been playing rather consistent football throughout history and not onoffonoffonoff.......I'm not sure there's been a worldcup in which Italy has not qualified......

Had a trip to OCS(Officer Cadet School) today, where they train all the commandoes, lieutenants, officers...... the compound was really pleasing to the eye: colourful buildings, interesting structures, fountains, pools of water and of course, like the rest of Singapore, has a garden-like landscape with colourful plants and greenery everywhere. Maybe I'll consider going there, it looks better than the camp at Sembawang anyway....

Most of us here in Singapore think about the future with particular attention to what jobs they want to do, what they want to major in university (did you know that the first universities on earth were built in present day Iraq and Iran?), how many kids thay have, what kind of house they want to live in...But have any of you thought about what we can do to promote change? To fuel advancement, to have an impact on others(positively of course), to leave a mark, a legacy, on this world that we live in as a testament to how we had truly Lived? Many of us don't think that way sadly....many of us question the possibiliy of such grandeur. Yet when we look at history, many things that people had deemed impossible are considered daily occurences today.Maybe the impossible is merely the untried?

I sound like a freakin motivational speaker now.....hmmmm.... a new career path reveals itself...... haha.....stanley just told me to update my blog on MSN......see lah, forgot what to say already....

Anyways, a heartfelt goodbye to our dear classmate Celest, who has decided to withdraw from JC life.....sigh..... gd LUCK!!!! hopefully we'll get something for u..... maybe a momento....
