Just watched Phantom Of the Opera just now. It was ok, i guess. It's the second time i've watched it and i still find myself humming to the tune of All I Ask Of You.
By using up those 3 hours, I've sacrificed studying for Econs and Math tomorrow, which probably means I'll do horribly for Maths. Econs I still have hope for. I didn't study for the previous two tests and still did better than expcted. Yes, I'm very mature, I know.
As for Maths.... I'll get a U as usual. My math teacher has kindly told the class that they are not testing us on Differentiation and Integration. The two topics I worked my ass off for last year an have any hope of scoring for is no being tested for. And thus the U (mind you, even with those two topics tested, i still go a U for my Mid-Course).
Literature is not a big worry. I only need to master the art of writing three four-page essays within three hours.
Geography, I'm relying on the logic that i have grasped that flows through Human Geography. Urbanization, Globalisation and Population I can handle. Its the Physical component I'm not so sure off. What with Lithospheric Processes, Hydrological Processes and now Atmospherical Processes.... it takes too much memory work, I think.
General Paper: over and done with. What a fiasco that was. I don't think i failed it though.
Hmmm.....I've spent most of my holidays slacking......... diediediediediediediediediediedie...........
Saw True Files regarding the maid who killed the woman. Saw the way the maid had to serve life imprisonment just besause she killed some abusive bitch who didn't know the worh of another human being. Life imprisonment. Hello? Is it just me or is something wrong with the picture here?
Sure, she killed. She distinguished a life, a life that was no doubt precious(to some anyway) and i guess she should be punished. But social justice should only affect the punishment so far.
Furthermore, the judgement should be passed with as little bias as possible. The maid was Indonesian. The so called victim was a Singaporean. Am i assuming too much if i say the judge may have been a little prejudiced? Hmm... anyway....gah...I'm going to sleep. Justice in Singapore still has a long way to go, I think.
still the same.|
